Daily Log 15 June 2011 - Reza Ali to launch a book soon
[/caption] DAILY LOG 15 JUNE 2011 MUSINGS AND THOUGHTS Over the last few weeks I have embarked on a small project, a book. I've wanted to write a book for a long time now but when it comes to doing something about it, I'll always a reason to do it another time. For some reason I got really inspired about 3 weeks ago and have begun the book. I now have the outline and structure and have slowly started filling in certain sections of the book. I've even started to get things on audio as part of the marketing preparation. More details will come later. Suffice to say, life is really starting to pick up. With the book, and the recording and the planning and not to forget, my triathlon training, I find myself really really looking for more time in a day. I feel so lucky and fortunate to be able to do all this.
BIKE I had a really hard workout yesterday so today I wanted to take it easy. I went out for a easy bike today, only for half an hour to keep my daily calorie burn up. In half an hour with an easy pace I can only manage about 11km which means I should at the very least manage the 20km in an hour or so. I hope I can do it faster during the actual triathlon especially with more straight line instead of the 8 corners I have to negotiate. My target? 45 minutes for the 20km bike and 30 minutes for the 5km run. Maybe about 20 minutes for the swim portion. All in all about 95 minutes. Allow for a 5 minutes total transition time makes it an even 100 minutes or 1 hour 40 minutes. Let's see what happens.
